The Tribute
This cache commemorates the "golden guiders", known as "gg" for short, on their long and winding road to reach the goal of 2,000 cache finds!

When zugbug and I first discussed hiding this tribute cache, we wanted it to appeal to each member of the golden guider family. First we chose Pawtuckaway State Park because it is one of their local favorite places to visit. Then, for Mrs. gg, we included a long hike in the woods and a mountain climb with a nice spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. For Molly and Bailey, we included the opportunity for a nice hike in the woods with their owners, Mr. & Mrs. gg. And last, but not least, for Mr. gg, we made it an evil hide and included an assortment of pins to choose from for his collection. Zugbug and I had a lot of fun planning and hiding this cache and we hope you enjoy it as well!
The Cache
The cache is a well camouflaged, winter-friendly ammo can located on top of Pawtuckaway Mountain at an elevation of just over 1,000 feet. There is a large sitting rock at the summit which is perfect for relaxing after the climb and enjoying a picnic lunch. The cache is initially stocked with an assortment of pins for trading. Please leave the angel pin for the golden guiders. There is also a FTF gift of one of my newly minted pathtags.
