Happy Birthday

I placed this little traditional Cache  in honor of the male part of the 'Baer' team, who celebrated  a very special birthday on the island together with 'the other part of the team' and some of his caching- and other friends. So, also from this place:
 
'Happy birthday Manfred'
The more or less 15 minutes (one way) walk leads you to one of the still many aqueducts on the island, which are still in use. This technique of water transport is more than 2700 years old and is mostly known through the usage by the Romans. The water transported through these aqueducts is nowadays used for irrigation (mostly - as I was told by the water company ENTEMANSER of the south)  and not to produce tap water.

Additionally if you want to 'celebrate more birthday', you might also visit the caches GC3CHBX and GC3CFZ2.

Puse este cache en honor de la parte macho del equipo 'Baer', quien celebró un cumpleaños muy especial en la isla junto con ' la otra parte del equipo' y unos caching- y otros amigos. Por eso también desde aquí:
 'Feliz Cumpleaños Manfred'
El paseito de más o menos 15 minutos (solo ida) te lleva a uno de los muchos acueductos todavía en uso en la isla. Esta técnica de transporte de agua ya tiene una antigüedad de más que 2700 y es conocido lo que más por el uso de los Romanos. El agua transportada con estos acueductos hoy en día es usada para regar (mayormente como me contó EMTEMANSER el suministro de agua del sur) y  no para producir agua potable.

Además, si quieres 'celebrar más cumpleaños', visites también los caches GC3CHBX y GC3CFZ2.

Ich habe diesen kleinen Tradi zu Ehren des männlichen Teils des 'Baer' Teams gelegt, der einen ganz speziellen Geburtstag zusammen mit 'dem anderen Teil des Teams' und einigen Cacher- und anderen Freunden auf der Insel feierte. Deshalb auch von diesem Platz:
'Alles Gute zum Geburtstag Manfred'

Dieser Spaziergang von mehr oder weniger 15 Minuten (eine Strecke) bringt Dich zu einem der vielen Aquädukte, die auf der Insel immer noch in Benutzung sind. Diese Technik, Wasser zu transportieren, ist mehr als 2700 Jahre alt und am meisten wegen der Benutzung durch die Römer bekannt. Das Wasser, das in diesen Kanälen transportiert wird, wird heutzutage zur Bewässerung (hauptsächlich wie mir die Wasserfirma im Süden ENTEMANSER sagte) und nicht zur Herstellung von Trinkwasser benutzt.
