The Teddy Bears are hiding out in the Great Wood and Punkinhead is among them.
Punkinhead was launched by a department store and became a merchandising winner. This Canadian bear is a different kind of bear as he wears shorts, has a prounounced colorful thatch of hair on top of his head, a shaved muzzle, wide grin and a set of large ears at the side of his dome shaped head. The department store created 14 booklets about his adventures, and featured him on records and television commercials.
When Punkinhead is happy, he does three jumps on the same spot and today he is happy, because there is a Teddy Bear picnic and he knows where it is.
Every child who owned a Punkinhead teddy loved him, myself included.
