Geocache Description:

In Pepeekeo on the road to the old mill.

The cache site is reminicent of the old plantation days when Pepeekeo was a thriving sugar producing community. The cane trucks would drive past loaded with sugar cane destined for the mill and eventually into bowls of sugar on our kitchen tables. The gear itself was part of the mill crushing machinery.
Hiloshell raised her kids in this community long before the gear was placed as sort of a memorial.
This should be an easy park and grab, but stealth is required. Take some pictures while you are looking and no one will be any wiser about what you are really doing there.
Please replace cache exactly as you found it. Bring your own pen for this tiny cache. Room for very tiny swag though.
