There's this red-headed kid I know. In that head is an endless stream of imaginative ideas that boggle the minds of ordinary folks.
He's an old-fashioned kind of kid whose entertainment comes from within. He doesn't need streaming video, or ear buds, or buttons to push. He carries culturally inspired fantasies within himself, building a greater story than any of the individual ones the rest of us have seen.
If you are around him for any amount of time you find his ideas spill over and begin to affect everyone around him. For instance, the first time he went geocaching was up in the redwoods at Mt. Madonna. It didn't take much for the hike to become a trek thru the Ewoks forest of Star Wars. Before too long each of us took on a role to become part of the unfolding story, directed by the red-headed kid's enthusiasm, of course.
A while ago he was caching in the area of this new placement. He found an equine staging field, circumscribed with huge boulders. While there he combined his two very favorite themes: Star Wars and American cowboys, to come up with some fun for all of us. Of course those boulders offered a backdrop for some pretty dramatic action scenes involving Jedis and Cowboys. At one point he decided there was a rock that should be named "Table Rock", like in a cowboy western, that became the location of a rather exciting light sabre battle. "Hey!" he says "This Table Rock would be a great geocache location!", and so it is.
Happy Birthday my young Cowboy Jedi Master! Perhaps others will come to your cache location and see it thru your eyes too.
