This cache is the 12th point on the Dartmoor Forest boundary, as established by the 1240 Perambulation. More details about the Perambulation can be found on the cache page for the Dartmoor Forest Bonus. On the front page of the logbook is an adjustment to be made to the Bonus co-ordinates, which you will need to find the Bonus.
If doing this cache as a standalone, there is parking on the roadside at Saddle Bridge (waypoint below). Cross the bridge then take the first stile only, and follow the path down the east bank of the brook.
If doing the Perambulation as a route, the next point on is Dryeworke. Continue up the path alongside the brook until you reach the road at Saddle Bridge. Continue over the road to follow the east bank of the brook to the next waypoint. The path is boggy in places, and you will have to cross the leat and some feeder streams, but it’s not too difficult going.
