An easy stop on the way to the coast. Approx. 3km off the federal HWY. Certainly not far off the beaten trail. A short drive or walk on a dirt road is require to reach this cache.
This area is well known for it's small award winning wineries. Some of which include Lambert, Affleck and Lark Hill. Scattered throughout the hobby farms a few families have started their own small businesses.
The winery in focus this time is Little Bridge Wines. The bridge was built by the residents who live beyond the creek to avoid the flash floods that often follow a decent storm. (The bridge is checked regularly by residents and is safe to drive over; however, it was not designed for pedestrians and we do not recommend walking over it.)
The roads ownership was once under some debate; however, we have been assured by the legal owner that it is open to public access. The residents pay good money to maintain the condition of the road so please stick to the speed limit. We do ask that you not venture over any fences.
