Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

Geocache Description:

The Bielie Mielie Festival is an anually fest held from 12 to 14 February in Reitz.

This year the Bielie Mielie is 33 year old. The festival is a community project that involves the agricultural community and town. Corn was from early days a vital commodity of the Eastern Free State.

There is always an exciting program and make it providence for all age groups.

Many competitions are presented annually, like tug of war, strongman, MTB racing, cycling and even a treasure hunt for the elderly.(Use your geocaching skills for this). For the youngsters there are a mieliestronk braai competition.

There is always a variety of artists at the festival.

The festival is based on agricultural activities. There are several displays by Agriculture companies. There is also a cattle and sheep auction.

This cache is a micro hidden outside the Festival Grounds. It is easily accessible but stealth is required.
