A QUICK P&G, this cache is placed in memory of the trains that used to snake along this route, and to the many horse rides I used to take along the railway bed.
Before Keene Road was built, this corridor was a railway bed. When we first moved here 30+ years ago, I would ride my horses alongside the tracks on the service road. Occasionally an engineer and I would exchange waves as he slowly passed me by in his big diesel engine. Nowadays, if you listen carefully in the night, you just might hear the GHOST TRAIN mournfully inspecting the tracks that are there only in memory!
