Don't you just love the tale of the quick-thinking little mouse who manages to outwit all the creatures in the wood who would love to eat her for dinner?
This short series is a tribute to that fab story "The Gruffalo" by Julia Donaldson, who, incidentally, wrote the book for the pupils of the nearby(ish) Auchterhouse Primary School .
Following on from the last location..... At this point our little mouse tells the fox all about the Gruffalo......
"He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws."
"Where are you meeting him?"
"Here, by these rocks, And his favourite food is roasted fox."
"Roasted fox! I'm off!" Fox said. "Goodbye, little mouse," and away he sped.
"Silly old Fox! Doesn't he know, There's no such thing as a gruffalo?"
