Doin' Dixie; WHOA! Traditional Cache
beemerdon: This whole intersection is under construction and the host for this cache is missing in action. I don't know what will happen here but it is getting too busy to stop here and look for a cache so I am going to archive this. Thanks to all who found it when this was a peaceful area.

Welcome to Dixie River Rd. I have placed six bison tubes along this once gently-used road (that is now almost a super highway) and I have left a lot of room for others to add to this half dozen. This would make a good road for a mini power-run! This cache used to be on the Stop sign but now that there is a traffic light in place, I have moved it to a guy wire. I have raised the D/T ratings to reflect the increased traffic out here.
This cache marks the spot where the old road went up the hill to the east and ended at Shopton. Now that is Shopton Rd. and Dixie River Rd. continues south to #160 and will be the north portal for the Berewick neighborhood. That stretch of the road is being developed so I am starting the run here. Be sure to stop in for some bargains across the street after you have done all six of the Dixie Series.
