Best to park up the road on the street and walk down to the location. Sadly Union Pacific RR has put up more of their hideous eyesore fencing around the big lot that used to offer a tempting place to park.
You might encounter some rail riders camped under the bridge but they're usually cool if you're friendly to them. If you're interested in adventure, trade them some smokes or some fresh fruit for stories about where they've been. Most hobos travel to feel the real-steel edge of life lived to the fullest and have some pretty good yarns to tell about it.
