MY BLOODY VALENTINE
Okay,
so maybe not the most romantic title for a Valentine’s cache.
But, I had to be different and go off the reservation for this
one.
My
Bloody Valentine is a 1981 Canadian slasher film released in the
wake of the popularity of the slasher genre that had overtaken the
1970s. Considered an example of the low-budget cult films
reminiscent of popular slasher films such as Halloween (1978) and
Friday the 13th (1980), the movie was filmed on location in Sydney
Mines, Nova Scotia, Canada.
It
was remade in 2009 and Starred Jensen Ackles of TV’s
Supernatural. Neither are exceptionally good movies, but the titles
proves worthy of a Letterbox title. So, without further
ado.....
Now for the
letterbox. (You will find a stamp and ink pad inside if you wish to
use)
1. At the starting
cords you will find yourself in a dirt
turnout;
2. Face northwest.
You should be looking at a chainlink gate;
4.Walk
approximately 9 paces to the gate;
5.
STOP;
6. Turn northeast
and walk another 9 paces (approximately);
7.
STOP;
8. Turn to the
northwest;
9. Just beyond the
chainlink fence you should see a white X on the
ground;
10. If you do, you
are in the right spot;
11. Look back
northeast and almost at your feet there should be a pile of rocks
in a field of rocks. On the edge of the rock
field;
12. Look and find
My Bloody Valentine;
13. Stamp or sign
away and use the stamp for your own letterbox if you
wish.
