Geocache Description:

[SWE] Det mörkgula huset, kanske stadens äldsta, har under sina nära trehundra år inrymt såväl apotek och bageri som postkontor och krog! Det vi idag benämner Gamla Torg var i forna tider Trelleborgs centrum. Här fanns kyrkan i norr, klostret i söder och vattnet hämtades i brunnen på torget där det också hölls marknader och andra sammankomster. Kring torget har trelleborgare bott i många århundraden. The old square [ENG] The dark yellow house, perhaps the city's oldest, has during its near three hundred years housed both the pharmacy and bakery and post office and pub! What we today call the Old Square was in ancient times Trelleborg’s center. Here was the church in the north, the monastery in the south and the water was collected in the well on the square where it is also held fairs and other gatherings. Around the square, Trelleborg’s Freeman lived for many centuries.
