Overview: In the Hollywood Riviera section of Torrance. The cache is not at the listed coordinates – do not go there; if you're on Vista del Parque, you're in the wrong place. You must solve the Puzzle below and do the math on the listed coordinates.

A year after we started geocaching, we populated our neighborhood, the Hollywood Riviera -- that part of Torrance with the Redondo Beach address on the north slope of PV – with caches because there were virtually none hidden here. Solve this puzzle and go to the hart of the Riviera. See the Related Webpage above and the puzzle below. Thanks to Rod (& indirectly Pirate Rat) for allowing me to use his puzzle code instantiation unchanged, although I'm going a lot easier on you than he did:
- It's a specific Constructed Script for English.
- Just solve the puzzle, get two numbers, and adjust the Lat & Lon right-of-the-decimal digits accordingly.
- You should check your answer for this puzzle at Geochecker.
- These coordinates will get you very close but may be a few feet off — the cache is reachable from the street, but it's safer to take a step or two onto the driveway to access the container..
PUZZLE: Start with N 33° 48.881 W 118° 22.568 and apply the adustments which are this puzzle's solution:

Once you've solved the puzzle and found Success with Geochecker, you will be looking for a house that usually has a visible word clue that will confirm you're at the right place. Cats often loiter around the front yard during daylight hours (unless it's high coyote season). It is common for strangers and dog walkers as well as neighbors to stop and visit the cats. Feel free to say hello to S'More and Drew; and, semi-feral siamese Pearl may be lurking not far away. The owners grant permission to visit cats & cache. If you act like you're visiting a cat, the neighbors will not be too suspicious. (They know about the geocache.)
Almost a park-and-grab except you'll probably have to park a short distance away on the opposite side of the street. The cache is reachable from the street, but it's safer to take a step or two onto the driveway. Log-only cache; bring your own writing utensil. And, you may need a non-standard (but common) TOTT to open the container; or, strong fingers should do it. Please be sure to replace the logsheet as found.
