Geocache Description:

This cache is deep in the Santoft Forest area, which is a commercial forestry with limited recreational activities permitted. The cache is at the end of the road, a few hundred metres from the beach.

Access is via a road along a public easement and is clearly signposted at the entrance off Santoft Road. Simply follow Fusilier Road (named after a shipwreck near the road end) until you reach a large clearing which is the end of the road. The packed dirt road is just over 4km long and is relatively car friendly although there are plenty of potholes and your car will get dirty if it has been raining recently!

Note the signs at the entrance (see image below) claim the road is locked after dark so, while there is no sign of a regularly used gate, you should avoid taking the risk and access this one during daylight only.

The cache itself is a 200ml Sistema container which should be a fairly easy find for geocachers. If in doubt, the clue should make it very easy!
