How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A 6 mile walk around the Staffordshire village of Chorley. The walk takes you along quiet country lanes and public footpaths. Paths are generally well signposted and are used regularly so can be muddy in places. You may encounter some farm animals along the way.

A total of 32 caches. You will need to find the co-ords for the bonus cache which are hidden in a cache somewhere in the series..

This series is best done on foot, the lanes are too narrow to stop for drive-by's.

The lane between No10 and No12 does get a few cars down it so take care. The other lanes on the series are not too bad and should be very quiet.

There are about 16 stiles to climb on the route so only dog friendly if you are OK with these.

The caches are numbered but you can start anywhere and go in either direction.

See cache page at No1 for more details and map of route.

You pass two nice pubs with good food and there's another one not far from cache No18 in Chorley village.

Please replace/re-hide all the caches how you find them
