3/11/2011 is the day we would not forget. On 14:46PM (JST), magnitude 9.0 (Mw) earthquake hit our home country, Japan, and it triggered powerful tsunami waves that reached heights of up to 40.5 meters (133 ft). Also it triggered many issues at nuclear plants and we are still having hard time seeking solutions.
Needless to day, we lost lots of people's lives and there are still lots to do to recover from the tragedy.
US is one of the first countries send Japan some helps, and the very first help was the group of doctors. They left US within 24hrs the earthquake hit Japan.
Countless donation and helps are still coming from all over the world including US, and we are very thankful for all the helps.
We just wanted to show our appreciation for the helps and great friendship between US and Japan.
