Geocache Description:

Flushed with success - carrying on round the bend

At Your Convenience is another series. We have "Off yer trolley" to feed the stomach, "Church Micro" to feed the soul, "Motorway Mayhem" to satisfy the Need for Speed and "Drinking Fountains and Troughs" to slake your thirst.

Dr. Solly created this series to fulfil another need. A basic need. Indeed, a fundamental need. Cachers of a certain age, feel this need rather more frequently than the youngsters. While out caching though, sometimes, we all need to spend a penny.

So therefore, while out caching, what could be more convenient than a database of publicly available Conveniences?

At Your Convenience caches are, of course, not hidden inside; they are placed conveniently outside. So you won't need to grope anywhere ... unpleasant. But they are, conveniently, in a place from which the Convenience is visible.

The caches are available 24/7, and in a place that is freely accessible - even though the Convenience itself might be inconveniently closed part of the time, or inconveniently requiring a penny. Or these days, even more.

The building here is a modest bricks-and-mortar affair, that comprises a small office, and a 'one-in-all-in' convenience. Ladies, Gentlemen and Disabled are all welcome here. Just remember to go in one at a time.

Not content with having a convenient convenience, this little area also offers convenient public transport into the centre of Maidstone, convenient parking for same, and convenient recycling facilities too. Whilst on a recce mission here, I dropped some shoes for recycling to not appear too conspicuous. I also surveyed the interior of the public convenience for the same reason...

Near the cache location there is an extensively sheltered bus stop for people to get out of the typical British weather whilst waiting for the 15-minute-interval buses. There's also a couple of notice-boards with town centre maps, and local information. All in all, very convenient.

During the hours of 7am to 7pm, this has potential for being quite a high muggle area. Caching in this window may require stealth, and nerves. If nerves get the better of you, may I recommend the brick-built building... Outside of these times, I suspect you should be able to sign this slightly more easily.

Tip of the hat to Dr Solly for the inspiration behind this cache. :o)
