The final in a series of 5 caches that follows the Pow Burn from Cummertrees to Powfoot. Each cache container is different. There is parking available in a layby just east of the Church, next to the start of the footpath.
Cummertrees used to have a station which is understandably closed these days as is the Church which is a great shame as it boasts a wonderful lych gate.
Powfoot is a pleasant village on the Solway with fine views and plentiful birdlife. It's probably most famous for its golf course these days which is in the top 100 Scottish courses.
The path linking the two villages is well covered by trees and does unfortunately get very muddy.
This cache is on the return path to Cummertrees on the west side of the burn.
