A flash mob with a 60's dress theme to mark the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. This flash mob is being held on Monday 4th June in Amroth, at 10.30 a.m. over the bank holiday weekend, and is being held as part of the 2012 Annual South Wales Event. The meet is at the start of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Please blend in to the backgound before the event, and try to camouflage yourselves. When the whistle blows at 10.30 please meet at the above co-ordinates, and transform yourselves with your costumes and perform your jive/jig dance. Please dress in either 60's theme clothes or come sparkling and glittering like a diamond! A second whistle will sound after 15 minutes, and you will be able to disburse, as if nothing has happened. Please write your name on a piece of paper, to go into a draw, for a chance to be F.T.F.
Amroth marks the start/finish of the Pembrokeshire coastal path, and there has been a new information board, erected, to celebrate the path, The New Inn - is not very far away, for those wanting refreshments later. There are also plenty of pubs at the other end of the village, and there will be events, over the day to celebrate the diamond jubilee, Sand castle competitions,a pig roast and fireworks and a beacon is being lit at dust.
