Geocache Description:

This cache will give you a view of the north end of the main runway for the Grant County International Airport and Port of Moses Lake. The terrain is quite easy, and there is only a short walk from the car to the final cache. This cache is the final cache container of the former puzzle cache of the same name. The puzzle pieces (websites and physical signs) changed too much to allow the cache to continue to be found.

On the way to this cache, I encourage you to drop by N 47 10.940 W 119 18.362, the south end of the main runway. Both these coordinates and the cache coordinates will give you a good look at the airport and surrounding area. I hope that you get to visit this cache on a day when the military is practicing touch and go's with the big C-17's. If you go after this cache on a moonless night, you might even see some of the experimental aircraft that is test flown in this area. Nothing like Area 51, but there are a few curious aircraft out there.

There is no need to cross any fences, nor violate any of the posted no trespassing signs in order to retrieve this cache. Please be respectful of the posted signs.

The cache is now a micro log only container. Feel free to contact me with questions, and happy caching.
