This is part of the 'Slight Detour' series of caches placed specifically for the Essex Camping Event 2012. Anyone attending the Camping Event 2012 can claim a joint FTF on the caches in this series.
This series is an interesting and varied route in its own right, but if you are walking the ECE (Essex Camping Event 2012) main route, and think the 18 miles may be too far in one go, then this detour gives you more options on the length of walk you could complete.
The footpath heads north/south here through the crop field and the path is nice and clear.
