Geocache Description:

Located at the corner of Howard, Randolph, and Boone County, there is the Rudolf Bennitt Conservation area. The area has a nice lake, horse trails, nice hiking trails, camping areas, and shooting ranges. This cache will take you next to the lake area. There is parking close to the cache, so you don't have to park on the side of the road.

With 3,575 acres of woodland, and a 48 acre lake, Rudolf Bennett Conservation area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities besides geocaching. Named after zoology professer Dr. Rudolf Bennett, the area was purchased by the conservation department in the 1960s. General Omar Bradley lived in the area as a boy with his aunt. Lt. Leonard Bradley, a Revolutionary War soldier, and other pioneers resting places are also located in the area.
The cache is a round camo container about 6 inches long, and holds a log and small trade items. Please take a picture of your visit and post it with your log to share with others.
