This cache is placed with permission and in cooperation with the Republic, MO Parks & Recreation Dept. to raise awareness of some of the parks and walking trails in the Republic area. This first cache is centrally located in Miller Park which is one of the oldest parks in Republic. There are several opportunities for fitness and play in this area! Ball diamonds, a Water Park, Fitness Center, Rodeo Arena, .8 mile Walking Trail, Picnic Areas, and even a Disc Golf Course are available here!!
This first cache is hid in a usual way but a tad different because in the summer this area will be MUGGLE CAPITAL OF REPUBLIC!!! You can park right next to the cache holder if it is not too busy, from about 8:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M.! Let your fingers do the finding!! Please make sure and place the container back as found and not just lay it on the base! There will be another one or two caches placed here in the near future.
