You can't park directly near GZ, so a short footpath walk may be needed. Otherwise it's stroller and kid friendly (although the park is on a fairly busy road).
After attending the 6th Annual Illawarra/South Coast Get-together, I happened across this little park. A park with a story and a monument but no cache? I had to rectify that, and I had a pre-prepared cache on me, so here we are. It turns out that this is Tom Thumb Garden, which commemorates the 1796 arrival of Bass, Flinders and the boy Martin in their boat "Tom Thumb". They were the first Europeans to visit the area and they named the waterway "Tom Thumb Lagoon". There's some sculptures here with more info on plaques. Coords may be a little off due to battery and time constraints but should be close enough given the lack of hiding options and the hint. ** Congrats to MCQ276 for FTF! **
