This is my Bonus cache along the old Roman road -Ermine Street
This cache has been waiting to be activated for a while and is designed to be a bit more devious.
It is located just off the A15 Lincoln to Scunthorpe road and a couple of miles off junction 4 of the M180.
Parking is available at the start of the path.
Do not attempt to access this cache from the A15 and walking back, it is a very busy road.
It is hidden beyond the cache Accendo, further down the unchartered footpath. Be aware there can be brambles and nettles underfoot in this jungle, especially at the height of summer. Also mind out for the wildlife there are rabbits digging everywhere.
The co-ordinates will lead you to a wooden fence post which is marked at the top by two "XX's".
At the base of this post you will find two items of tooling.
Now imagine that these are big enough to be used by two workmen (one each) who are working down your street.
You are going to use them in a similar way to gain access to the cache.
The cache is not far from the fence post and should be easy to find and is in a really unusual container.
Make sure you put the "tools" back and leave the cache exactly as you find it, including any adjacent fauna and flora.
The hiding place contains a couple of containers to hold items. Please replace them the same way around otherwise it may be difficult to get them out. You will see why when you find it.
In one container there is a FTF certificate, log book, pencil and the TB - Ronaldo - a Swedish footballer.
In the other box there are several small swaps, please feel free to leave what you can.
It would be good to leave TB's for onward travel as there is plenty of room.
