Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches to celebrate the Great Western Railway, affectionately known as 'God's Wonderful Railway'. This is your chance to release your inner 'anorak' and go trainspotting, feel free to wear that 'Parka' that's been hanging in the wardrobe for decades!

This cache is near the junction of the main line and the South Devon Railway branch line, one up to date and modern, the other steam and retired diesels for tourists. Hence 'The Old & The New'. For an extended visit, check out the Rare Breeds farm at the end of the steam station it's a nice place to visit.
Cache is a small micro. Stealth will be required(tying shoelaces being the best option). Please write on back of log as well, rather than say its full if just the front is written on.
Parking is your only problem, as it's a railway station car park.Prices at time of placing cache..Mon-Fri £5 for 24hrs or part of.Sat-Sun £3.30 for day or part of.There are a limited number of free twenty minute bays if you time it right, and if there is not a train coming in you could use these as they will give you long enough to walk there and back(I use these when maintaining the cache). If not park further away and stretch your legs for a bit.
