The Event: Turn up at the pub any time from 7pm on Thursday 28th March to chat to local cachers about great hides, tricky puzzles and to exchange hints and tales of the hunt. Your Easter of geocaching starts here!
We are a friendly bunch and are very welcoming to anyone and everyone. If you've never been to an Event Cache before then don't be shy. Give this one a try!
Hot, locally prepared good food is available from 5.30pm until 9pm.
This event will include an official FTF drawn at random from the attendees who sign the log book.
Post-Event Update
Thanks to everyone who came along and made it a great evening of relaxed chat and banter. As ever, it was good to see faces old and new and the piggin' sausages really did seem to generate great interest.
This event also saw the release of "The Happening Prize Geocoin". This trackable has been dropped into a cache somewhere in the area that we tend to meet up. Anyone bringing that coin to a Happening Event gets to pick something from the Prize Box; which is filling up with lovely booty nicely. The aim of this geocoin is to promote the event meetings and encourage new folk to come along.
And finally, we introduced the "First To Find" winner being drawn at random from the logged in cachers. This time the official FTF went to Halesjay.
