De tuinvereniging "Ons Buiten" is opgericht op 2 januari 1957. "Ons Buiten" is ontstaan door een fusie van vijf tuinverenigingen ten noorden van Leiden. Het is het eerste permanente en tevens grootste volkstuincomplex in Leiden. Het complex telt 441 tuinen. Het complex "Ons Buiten" is gelegen tussen de Slaaghwijk en de Willem de Zwijgerlaan. Het is een bijzonder fraai complex en een van de weinige complexen waar stenen tuinhuisjes gebouwd zijn. De paden zijn er verhard en de afscheiding van de paden en tuin is uitgevoerd met een liguster haag. Het complex is voorzien van veel groen, bomen, struiken en kent een grote diversiteit aan vogels.
Het bordje "verboden toegang" kun je negeren. Hoewel je vrij bent om het complex te betreden, is er vanwege vandalisme wel verscherpt toezicht. Het bestuur van "Ons Buiten" is akkoord met de plaatsing van de cache, maar het kan dus zijn dat een van de tuinders je aanspreekt op je aanwezigheid. Daarom ook: geen caching in het donker.
De cache is zonder het pad te verlaten en zonder de tuintjes te betreden te bereiken. Je hebt de hint niet nodig voor het vinden van de cache. De cache is een kleine plastic doos (425 ml) met daarin potlood, puntenslijper, logboekje en goodies. Er is plaats voor TB's en geocoins. Het kan zijn dat de eigenaar van het betreffende tuintje (die overigens niet zoveel van geocachen weet) een gesprek met je aanknoopt…je bent gewaarschuwd :)
The garden association "Ons Buiten" was founded on January 2, 1957. "Ons Buiten" was created by a merger of five garden associations north of Leiden. The board of "Ons Buiten" has no objections to the placement of this cache, but it could be that gardeners may ask about your presence there. Therefore, no caching after dark.

Le club de jardinage "Ons Buiten" a été fondé le 2 Janvier 1957. "Ons Buiten" a été créé par une fusion de cinq clubs de jardinage au nord de Leiden. C’est le premier complexe permanent et le plus grand. Le complexe est constitué de 441 jardins. C’est un complexe très agréable et l’un des rares avec des maisonnettes en pierre. Les chemins sont pavés et une haie de troènes sépare les chemins et les jardins. Dans le complexe il ya beaucoup de verdure, arbres, arbustes et on y trouve une grande diversité d'oiseaux.
Vous pouvez ignorer le signe "Verboden Toegang". Bien que vous soyez autorisé à entrer dans le complexe, sachez qu’ à cause du vandalisme, les gens sont plus alerts. Le conseil d'administration de "Ons Buiten" a été informé de cette cache, mais il se peut que des jardiniers vous interpellent sur votre présence. Pour cette raison pas de caching pendant la nuit.
