Located in a nature center on beautiful Lake Grindstone - your geocache hunt will take you through a variety of habitats, including old-growth red and white pines, hardwood forests, and restored wetlands and prairies.
Please seek these caches during daylight hours only.
There are parking coordinates listed for 2 parking areas that can be used, one to the west and one to the east. The main parking area (west) is a good place to start as there is a map of the property with the trails which will aid you in your search for the caches. No parking is allowed in any other areas – Do not park on Audubon Dr. or on Fox Rd.
You may attempt to search for these caches while other programming is going on at the center- if you come to an area where there is activity just seek other caches and come back at a later time to finish your search.
Smoking is not permitted on nature center property.
You will find bathrooms available M-F from 9 to 4 (usually) at the main parking area.
You might have the urge to just pull over and look for this one but please use the designated parking areas and follow the rules set forth for geocachers.
You are seeking a small container with a log sheet and pencil.
Please resecure carefully as the lid is a little tough to get just right!
