A replacement cache a few feet away from co-ordinates. The first cache in a series called Thurgaton Circuit (TC)which is a 3 mile circular walk. Black tube.
You can start the walk and park by the first cache. The walk takes in 17 caches..a mix of micro, small and regular. If you start the walk from the footpath near number 1 then you will end up doing the series backwards. The alternative is to head off up the road and take a left and follow your arrow from there.
This is a pleasant walk around mainly fields and tracks and should take approx 2 hours plus caching time. We hope you enjoy the walk, the views and the caches. We have planted them regularly so this will be a good series for children to keep them interested. None are particularly difficult as we wanted this to be a real caching WALK. You can also take in Banana's Birthday cache and the Thurgaton Priory multi en route which are both between TC8 & TC9
For those in a rush or find walking difficult, you can do caches 1-7 as drive bys on a quiet lane, but it is a lovely walk.
This walk can be muddy in places, so boots are a must at certain times!!!
Oh and please please please re hide all our caches well!
