Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior notes from other cachers about the construction in the area and because the Cache Owner has not been online since February 2015. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Scenic school bus ride to Konawaena High School.

1983 I lived in Kona Palisades and took the public school bus to get high school and back. After settling in to my seat this is the part of this road where I would look out the window and be amazed to the vast view of cooled lava rock. Always imagining what it must have been like before it all cooled down. Some of the other students mentioned about a fresh cold water pool in the middle of these lava rocks called,"Queen's Bath". I never found it. Find it and log it coordinates. Take a picture. Always be safe.Aloha!

Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com.
