jamange: Sadly decided to archive this series as due to the nature of the 'womble containers', if they go AWOL it is not as straightforward to replace them. As time has gone on, I have run out of suitable containers and I am loathe to use film pots which is not in keeping with the theme. I'm glad so many people were able to enjoy them while they lasted.

Geocache Description:

A micro cache. You will need your own pen. Can be muddy at times. BEWARE of deep hole in ground on approach and of thorny shrubs.



The Wombles, as we all know, help the environment by collecting and recycling rubbish in useful and ingenious ways. They are very careful to keep their existence secret from Muggles but do like Cachers to "make good use of bad rubbish".

In response to this admirable plea, we have collected rubbish during our walks and have recycled it as cache containers. The area in which they are hidden unfortunately does have some litter/rubbish issues in places but we have been careful to conceal ours. Perhaps we could all learn a lesson from our furry friends? Remember you're a Womble.



Bungo


Bungo is the youngest of the working Wombles. He is rather bossy and thinks he knows the answer to everything. He is usually wrong! Great Uncle Bulgaria looks at him over the top of his spectacles and says "Bungo! Silly sort of name, but it suits him".

Additional caches will be hidden in this series as suitable 'rubbish' is found.
