Placed by permission, this is the 2nd of our 5 special hides, this one is sure to amaze you. This cache is GREAT for adults as well as chidren. If not by size, then by contents. Although it is available 7 days a week, we ask you limit the hunt to daylight hours. You have permission to park in the parking area. We hope you like it enough to give it one of your coveted FAVORITE points.
Placed in memory of my Mom, this is where she resided the last few years of her life. She was always full of smiles, chuckles and her eyes glittered with love. She would always light up the room when she entered and couldn't wait to treat the children to special treasures. If she were here there is no doubt she would be hiding around the corner giggling as she waited for someone to discover the cache.
You will find it loaded with all kinds of goodies including items for children and adults. There will be loose swag for children, loose adult swag made by residents, bag of simple adult swag for simple trades, well marked container for trackable trades and the large log in a separate bag.
TRACKABLES = THEY ARE IN A SEPARATE CONTAINER IN THE CACHE. TRACKABLES ARE NOT FOR CHILDREN. ADULTS ONLY PLEASE. ONLY TAKE ONE AND TRADE IS EXPECTED IF POSSIBLE. WE ASK THAT ANY TRACKABLE YOU TAKE POSSESSION OF BE LOGGED IN ON THE SAME DAY AS TAKEN.
SWAG = PLEASE ONLY TAKE 1 ITEM PER CHILD AND TRADE IS EXPECTED SO OTHER CHILDREN MAY ENJOY THE CACHE. THIS DOES NOT APPLY FOR THE CRAFT ITEMS PLACED BY RESIDENTS. THOSE ITEMS ARE GIVEN TO YOU WITH LOVE. THEY WILL HAVE THE NAME OF THE RESIDENT WHO MADE THE ITEM. PLEASE VISIT THE RESIDENT INSIDE AND PERSONALLY THANK THEM FOR THE ITEM.
This is your opportunity to put a smile on someone else's face....like my Mother did. Feel free to drop off small toys, games or stuff animals for children.
Make sure you sign the logbook. In fact, let us know what you think of the cache and the treasures. The Activities Department occasionally reads the entrys to the residents.
