Geocache Description:

Medium size L&L container.

This cache was in honor of Mardi Gras but I neglected to find a place to hide it on the correct day. I was lamenting my attempt to hide the cache yesterday on Mardi Gras day to my son and he suggested the name- Mardi Gras Leftovers. Today after finding another cache I drove by this place and had to turn around. It reminded me of what New Orleans may look like the day after Mardi Gras is over. It's an easy place to park on the side of the road and there were plenty of hiding places. It will not be easy to find if there should be a lot of snow. Beware of some of those leftover items around- just watch your step. Please note: Although this cache is right by Exit 19 from Rt. 93 it is NOT an on/off exit. You can get off when heading North but you have to drive 2 miles to Exit 20 to get back on going North. You can get on here heading South but not off when you are heading south on Rt.93. Cache has Mardi Gras neckwear. Please hide again so it is out of sight.
Congratulations to BarHarborGirl on FTF!
Cache was replaced on 8-29-14 and the container is a bit larger with a red top. It should be much easier to find now but the terrain you have to cross to get to it has been upgraded to a 2. There is a pull off for parking right by cache. It's really a park & grab.
