Geocache Description:

Welcome back to Ashallond's Geocaching Academy. This is month 2 of the academy. Over 5 months we will see if you can graduate from the academy. You are encouraged to start with the Freshman Level course (GC3A867) before you tackle this one. We don't want you skipping grades now, do we?

When you are done with this course, head on over to the Junior Level Class.

Now this way marker is right in the dog pen at the Fort Smith Dog Park. The question is...am I going to run you inside or outside of the fence. Which side of the fence am I on? Guess you'll have to find out.

Now Sophomore level courses are going to be a bit more difficult, and it's time to start our Geocaching courses as well.

To solve this level academy, you're going to have to do a projection. You'll use these coordinates as your starting point. but to figure out how far and in what direction you'll have to go, you'll need some digits.

From the listed coordinates, you will go ABC.5 degrees for XYZ feet

Many of the mobile apps has a function to do this now, as do many GPS units You can also google the phrase "Calculate the great circle distance between two points" and you might get a link or two that would work to help you with this.

Ok, Sophomore courses. Looks like Geometry, English, Chemistry, U.S. History, Drama, and ..wait, are you serious? Football? Haven't most of you already used up your eligibility? *shakes head* OK, whatever.

GEOMETRY: A rectangle has a length that is 8 units longer than it's height 'B.' If it's area is 20, Find B.

ENGLISH:William Shakespeare, or as some of my other students call him, Willie Shakes. He wrote a bunch of plays. But did you know he wrote some other things? Some about a Fair youth, some about the Dark Lady, and others about a Rival Poet. What things am I talking about? How many lines are in one? Take the first digit and make that 'A.'

CHEMISTRY: The answer to this is 'Z.' Enjoy.
9 8 92 88 60 8 10 = Z

U.S.HISTORY: Hmm, so much to have you search in U.S. history...what to do...what to do. Hmm, Got it. The Battle of Bunker Hill. believe it or not, Bunker Hill was the objective of the British in this battle, most of the battle was NOT fought on Bunker Hill (that part occured after the colonists retreated over Bunker Hill. What's the name of the hill that most of this fight occurred on? Take the number of e's in the name of that Hill and call that 'Y.'

DRAMA: Hmm, Drama. an idea. I mean, when CA, Yazzman, Jffok and apparently now markandsons start going after those FTF's...there does seem to be drama to follow. Numerous arrests, chainsawed trees, magic google pens, Shoot I think there was even a hostage situation at one point. Hate to see what happens on this cache. Anyway, where was I. Oh yes. Your question. Sometimes when an actor talks to the audience and breaks character to do so, it's said that the character has broken 'this.' Take the number from that term and subtract 1. That's 'X.'

FOOTBALL: Seriously, I can't get over this. ok fine. Here we go. Take the number of points in a touchdown (no extra point), and multiply by the number of Super Bowl Titles that the Dallas Cowboys have. Divide by the number of yards a team is penalized for Offensive Holding, and subtract a safety. The left over number is 'C.'

You're looking for a small container that is log only.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
