The "Pit" is a sort of central meeting place at Otway Ski Trails, where people will stop to warm themselves at the campfire, eat a hotdog or hamburger, with a cup of hot chocolate.
When these functions are happening, this cache is impossible.
The remainder of the time, only requires some stealth.
Caledonia Nordic Ski Club provide an excellant opportunity for people to cross country ski or snowshoe in winter and hike or bike in summer.
The place is becoming more popular each year to recreating public. Many changes will take place during the next 3 years in preparation for the 2015 Canada Winter Games, but Otway will be here for people to enjoy.
