Geocache Description:

This is near a place that I thought BIG BEAR would want to come to and celebrate his BIG DAY again on one of our bright, hot, sunny summer days. It would make a nice refreshing picnic nearby after a hot day of 4-wheeling! You’re looking for a 4”x4” lock-n-lock Tupperware type of container that has been cammo’d.

Park at the way-point listed and follow the rustic trail to a very nice (a little rough around the edges I suppose) swimming hole. Walk up the creek to the north a little and make your way across the creek (stone hopping). I wouldn't recommend taking the conc. wall across the creek unless you have excellent balance and are VERY sure-footed! Once you are across the creek, work your way north a little more and then up the hill to an old miner’s ditch, then a little more north and then up the hill only a little.

I suspect that during the summer months that this area will have a lot of muggles nearby, so try to not raise too much suspicion while on your hunt. As always, watch out for Poison Oak and nasty critters while exploring the local wild! Have fun!!!

Also if everyone did a little CITO on the way out, that would make this spot even nicer and be appreciated too!
