Geocache Description:

This shortcut trail is well maintained but is open only to hikers and horseback riders; in particular, no dogs allowed due to possible encounter with Mountain Lions.

Expect to see a dramatic wilderness that is scarred but now recovering from forest fire. Many dead trees, many fallen but also many standing. Expect to see deer tracks and even Mountain Lion tracks along the way. Bring a camera to photograph countless wonderful scenes.
