The market town of Soham lies on the A142 between Ely and Newmarket.
This cache has been placed with the kind permission of Soham Rangers Football Club. Parking is available in the car park but please avoid Saturday afternoons.
Football has been played at this ground since 1920 (Soham Town) and 1947 by Soham Town Rangers who purchased the ground in 1952. Starting out in the Cambs League, the team moved to the Eastern Counties League in 1963, followed by promotion to the Southern League in 2008. Notable successes include winning the Cambridgeshire Invitation Cup on three separate occasions in the 1990’s and winning the Eastern Counties Premier Division in 2007-08.
The cache is a camo screw top container with log book and pencil and room for small swops. Please replace out of sight.
