Tawhiti treasure can be a drive by or stop and spend some time in the museum if it is open.
Tawhiti treasure is located outside an old daity factory that has been convereted into a private museum. This meseum has won awards for its excellence and layout as it is not the normal museum but has a lot of local history with many models and a lot of fine art work to complement the history.
Please do not climb onto the structure or trampel on the gardens.
