M&N Garage and TB Hotel (CARW2012) & (YLHDAB) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

onemansgold: It is with regret that I must archive this cache. It has been muggled to the extreme degree.

It seems the driver of a vehicle, most likely a non-geocacher, lost control of their vehicle and smashed into the cache at a considerable rate of speed, strewing it and its contents in a 30 foot long swath. There is literally nothing left of the cache container, nor the item it was hidden in.

I may devise a different cache for this location in the future, but I will archive this cache now in case someone else wants to place one here.

Cheers to all ... onemansgold

Should you hunt and find this cache prior, it will not count for the event,

This cache is in honour of grandchildren Madison and Nathan. Madison likes keychains and Nathan likes cars, so they have loaded up the cache with these trading items. Please limit your trading to keychains and cars only.

The cache is located in the Ardrossan, Alberta area very near to the Yellowhead Highway 16 and will give you a perfect opportunity to to take a break from driving and stretch your legs. It is in an easy location for a single vehicle to pull off and re-enter the highway. Bigger rigs can simply drive up the road and turn into the first subdivision on the left and follow the horseshoe road that will reconnect with that road. This will be a great location to collect or move travel bugs along if you desire.

The cache is on private property with the owners permission. You may be approached and asked your purpose there. Simply tell them you are geocaching. The owner will smile and tell you ‘Good luck!’. Bogus answers will get you escorted off the property!
