We love our wildlife at the National Trust and there's plenty to see at Roseberry Topping. This cache is hidden by a clearing in Newton Wood that is a great place for spotting one of its more elusive residents, the purple hairstreak butterfly. This pretty little insect likes to stay high up in the canopy of oak trees - if you're visiting on a summers evening look up and you may see them performing their circular courtship flights.
Please stick too the paths until you are close to the cache so the vegetation doesn't get unnecessarily trampled.
This is a disguised micro cache, so no room for swaps, travelbugs or geocoins. You'll need to bring your own pen too.
