This series of caches will take you on a circular walk around Roseberry Topping of around 5 miles. Some caches are small and well hidden, while other are large with plenty of room for swaps.

As you walk through the woods to this cache, the chances are you'll hear a great spotted woodpecker. The old oaks of Newton Wood provide ideal habitat for them. All year round they make a sharp 'jick' call that gives away their presence. In spring, listen out for their unmistakable drumming. This is the woodpecker's version of a song - they do it to attract a mate and stake out their territory.

This is a small cache with enough room for a few swaps, travelbugs or geocoins.
