Humboldt's prospect
Humboldt's prospect is a beautiful place near Vetruse. It is named after scienist and traveler Alexander von Humboldt. It is located on Soudny vrch hill. There is a view of the river Labe, the Strekov castle, Masaryk's sluices and a lot of other places.

Alexander byl nemecky prirodovedec, zakladatel fyzicke geografie a biogeografie, cestovatel po Americe a Sibiri. Zabyval se obory z oblasti fyziky, chemie, geologie, mineralogie, vulkanologie, botaniky, zoologie, klimatologie, oceanografie a astronomie, ale take ho zajimaly otazky hospodarske geografie, etnologie a demografie.
V letech 1799-1804 podnikl Humboldt svou prvni cestu do Latinske Ameriky, kterou vedecky zkoumal a popisoval. Jeho zapisky z teto cesty byly pres 21 let vydavany v obrovskem nakladu. Byl take jednim z prvnich, kteri vyjadrili nazor, ze kontinenty, ktere omyva Atlantik, byly kdysi spojeny v jeden celek (Jizni Amerika a Afrika).

Informace o kesi
Ke kesi se nejlepe dostanete, pokud sve geovozidlo zaparkujete na parkovisti u Vetruse (viz waypoint). Pokud geovozidlo nemate, muzete se na Vetrusi dopravit lanovou drahou.
Pokracujte pesky po cervene a zelene turisticke stezce, pripadne na kole po Solni stezce. U informacni tabule jiz uvidite ukazatel na Humboldtovu vyhlidku a Nebeske schudky. Tudy se vydejte a brzy dorazite na vyhlidku, kde se muzete dukladne rozhlednout i posedet na lavicce.
Samotna kes se nachazi nedaleko vyhlidky, pokud budete pokracovat dal po cesticce smerem k Nebeskym schudkum. Najdete ji maly kousek od cesty.
The cache information
Park your geo-vehicle at the free parking place on Vetruse to get the cache by the best way. You can use cableway Forum shopping center - Vetruse if you do not have a geo-vehicle.
Then walk by red and green tourist trail or ride on bicycle by Solni stezka. Near information board you will see a pointer to the Humboldt prospect and Nebeske schudky. This way, go and soon you will reach the prospect, where you can sit on a bench and look around.
Cache is hidden near the prospect. If you will continue this way toward Nebeske schudky, you will find a cache near this path.
Kam dal
Vratite-li se z vyhlidky zpet na turistickou stezku, muzete dale pokracovat k Vanovskemu vodopadu a na Vrkoc. Po ceste vas ceka mnoho krasnych vyhledu a na konci prijemne prochazky dalsi kesky.
Where you go after
When you return from the prospect back to the tourist trail, you can continue to Vanovsky waterfall and Vrkoc. On the way, you can see many beautiful views. And there are another caches waiting for you.
