Map of all CCC camps in PA.

S-87, Ole Bull, PA was established on May 30, 1933, near Ole Bull Castle along Ole Bull Road. Company 5444 was made up of men from Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida, and few of these men had ever seen mountains like those found in Potter County, Pennsylvania. One enrollee said that for a long time he was afraid that one of these great mounds of earth and rock would slide or tumble down upon him.

Take the time to explore the park and all its CCC relics. Stop in the park office to see the camp display in photos.
