Sorry for the distance to this one...
Follow the path a short way, and turn left onto another footpath signposted "London Road". through the fields and over the style beside a house. The path then continues forward (not up the hill!) and through another field, bearing a little to the left towards the houses and a flight of steps. Up the steps and through the yard. continue up the drive to the road
We had planned on continuing on the public footpath down towards the bridge and nearby Nature Reserve. Sadly we're informed either the council or Network Rail have closed the bridge, as it's no longer accessible this last section (800m) is on quiet, but narrow roads.
