It is important that you understand the hours of operation of the park and visitor’s center as you can only cache during these hours.
Redbud Valley Website
You will get the 2nd set of coordinates at the center either posted on the notice board or from the Park Ranger. Go to that point and you will find the 3rd and last set of coordinates, which will take you to the cache! On the way you’ll get a tour of the park.
The Redbud Valley Natural Area is a place of quiet beauty and rugged scenery. There are plants and animals found nowhere else in Northeastern Oklahoma. It is a very special habitat, preserved for all of us to enjoy. Be sure to pick up the trail guide in the visitor’s center and read about how the limestone cliffs were formed and the unique plant life of this area. The primary focus at Redbud is to preserve and protect the unique plant and animal life that is found here. The area is also used for environmental education and public enjoyment, but only when these activities coincide with their main focus, PROTECTION.
PLEASE observe the Dos and Don'ts in the guide.
PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAILS. There is no need to go off trail: both the 3rd set of coordinates and the cache are on or right next to the trails. All you need is the 2nd set of coordinates and a trail guide from the visitors center and you are ready to go.
Oh, and four-footed Retrievers will have to stay at home.
