The boat is a wheelhouse forward straight deck bulk carrier. The Boat is just over 711 feet in length and has a maximum load capacity of 28,000 tons. It is powered by , 7,500 horsepower steam turbine engine.
This boat was built in River Rouge, Michigan and sank in Lake Superior November 1975.
